Stackable Switch Considerations

When a stacked switch is used, the video bandwidth usage for Transmitters needs to be considered as the stacking cables that connect switches have a maximum bandwidth capability that is much lower than if a single switch is used.

Connecting stacked switches together requires specialized stacking cables. Most stacking cables are compatible, regardless of the manufacturer.
