Overview

Just Add Power legacy 2G Series support USB-based KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse), allowing USB peripherals connected at a Receiver (Decoder) to control a source device connected to a Transmitter (Encoder).

Supported Firmware

USB-based KVM is supported on firmware versions compatible with 2G+ and select Omega/Ultra Series devices. USB behavior and reliability improved across firmware releases, so later versions are recommended when possible.

  • 2G & Omega/Ultra Firmware A6.5.9 
  • 2G Firmware A5.3.1 

Command

After switching a Receiver to a new Transmitter, the USB link must be re-established manually.

Send the following command to the Receiver (Decoder) to activate the USB connection:
