Overview

Just Add Power 2G Omega and 3G Ultra devices that support Power Over Ethernet (POE) are classified as IEEE 802.3af devices, meaning they use no more than 12.95 watts.


Power Usage

POE usage varies depending on the features currently in-use

  1. No live video (TX or RX) = 3-4 watts
  2. Live video under standard conditions (TX or RX) = 6-7 watts
  3. Initial boot-up and maximum usage (TX or RX) = 10 watts
