Update

The newest JADConfig has resolved this issue permanently. Either apply this fix, upgrade firmware to newest version, or update JADConfig and re-run Setup a New System.

Information

Luxul firmware v4.1.2 and v4.2.0 have changes to the default IGMP settings of the switch. These changes have resulted in Just Add Power HD over IP to need an additional setting after running JADConfig.

Just Add Power HD over IP utilizes unregistered IGMP traffic. This requires Unregistered IPMCv4 Flooding Enabled to be checked.

This issue is slated to be fixed in the next version of JADConfig so that this problem does not occur in the future.

Fix Through Telnet/Console

Apply these settings to the switch after running JADConfig to enable audio/video:

  1. Connect to the switch and enter the username and password to access the # prompt
  2. Send the commands below:

config t
ip igmp unknown-flooding
end
copy run start
end

Fin!

Fix Through WebUI

Apply these settings to the switch after running JADConfig to enable audio/video:

  1. Open the web interface of the Luxul switch
  2. Go to Configuration --> IPMC --> IGMP Snooping --> Basic Configuration
  3. Check the box for Unregistered IPMCv4 Flooding Enabled
  4. No need to modify any other settings
  5. Scroll down to the bottom and click Save

  1. Go to Administration --> Configuration --> Save startup-config
  2. Click Save Configuration

Fin!
