Message Meaning
The Receiver is correctly communicating with a Transmitter over the network. However, the Transmitter does not have an active, valid video source.

Solutions

  1. The source may not be outputting video. Check that the source device is powered on and outputting video.
  2. The HDMI cable may be bad. Check the HDMI cable between the source and Transmitter.
  3. The source may be outputting an odd or unsupported resolution. Check that the source device is outputting a resolution that can be handled by the Transmitter.
  4. The Transmitter may have a defective HDMI port. Swap the Transmitter with a known-working Transmitter and see if the problem follows the Transmitter.
  5. The switch that the Transmitter and Receiver are connected to is not allowing 1Gbps of traffic between the devices.
  6. Jumbo Frames are not enabled on the switch in a system with 2GΩ, 3G, or MaxColor devices.
