Diagnostic Screen Message

Message Meaning
The Receiver is not correctly communicating with any Transmitters over the network.

Solutions

  1. The Transmitter may be powered off. Check that the Transmitter has a solid Power light and active Data light (blinking or solid).
  2. The Receiver may be watching a Transmitter that doesn't exist - potentially because of an open Transmitter port on the switch. Use the control system to switch to an active Transmitter.
  3. The Receiver and Transmitter may be on different versions of firmware. Check that the devices have matching firmware.
  4. The Receiver and Transmitter may be of different Generations (2G, 2GΩ, 3G) and not in the correct Mode. Check that the Transmitter and Receiver Mode settings match.
    • A 2G Receiver can natively watch video from a 2G Transmitter. A 2GΩ Transmitter or 3G Transmitter must be set into in 2G Mode to show video on a 2G Receiver.
    • A 2GΩ Receiver can natively watch video from a 2GΩ Transmitter or 3G Transmitter. A 2Ω Receiver must be set into 2G Mode to watch video from a 2G Transmitter.
    • A 3G Receiver natively can watch video from a 2GΩ Transmitter or 3G Transmitter. A 3G Receiver must be set into 2G Mode to watch video from a 2G Transmitter.
