These instructions will fit any of these situations.

Minimum Switch Firmware

Ruckus ICX8200 switches must be on minimum firmware version 10.0.10 to be compatible with AMP systems.

Upload Config Walkthrough

DISCLAIMER: If you are uploading an AMP dc or jp file, the Ruckus switch MUST be at default settings. The webUI upload is ADDITIVE and will not overwrite settings currently present on the switch; we cannot guarantee the final state of the switch.

  1. Login to the switch webUI by going to the current IP address
    • Default DHCP. You will need to login to your router to find the IP address on the network
    • Default username: super
    • Default password: sp-admin
  2. Check the firmware version on the switch. The minimum firmware version to be compatible with Just Add Power is 10.0.10.
  3. Once firmware is on 10.0.10 or later, go to Management --> Infra on the left menu.
  4. In the Infra menu:
    • Click Restore Running Config
    • Navigate to the switch configuration file on your PC
    • Click Restore and confirm by clicking OK in the popup
    • Wait for the webUI to reload. You may have to login again.
  5. Save the new configuration and reboot the switch
    • Click the circular arrow icon in the top-right corner. It will show Device Reload if you hover the mouse over it.
    • In the Device Reload popup, Select Partition Primary, and check the box for Save It.
    • Click Yes to reboot the switch with the updated configuration
  6. Done! The switch is at the settings from the configuration file: IP address, username/password, port settings.
