Disclaimer! Legacy JADConfig

JADConfig is now a legacy platform. While we still support systems that were originally configured with it, every switch model that JADConfig supported has been discontinued by their manufacturer.

Here is what that means:

  • If the established JADConfig system is working, you're fine to keep it running.
  • If a switch fails or you need to expand the system, you may be unable to purchase a new replacement.
  • At that point, the system must be reconfigured using AMP and a supported switch.

Once a switch in a JADConfig system goes down, converting to Advanced Matrix Programmer (AMP) is the only path forward!

For instructions to convert your JADConfig system to an AMP System, please select the article that best describes your system:

Review our supported switch list found within the Choosing the Right Switch for AMP Standardized Systems article.

All new systems are setup with AMP

Supported Switches

JADConfig will fully configure the switches listed below and Just Add Power provides drivers to support them.

*If the A/V system is too large to fit on one switch or there are multiple switch locations, please see Multi-Switch Considerations for JADConfig Systems for cable recommendations and bandwidth guidelines for systems with multiple switches.

Supported Switches: Luxul
