Known Issues

Key: [impact level][feature affected][affected version] Description

  • [All Devices][Audio][MAX v4.1.0] Disabling audio services causes devices to not boot correctly and breaks access to the API and webUI
    • Symptoms:
      • webUI gets stuck on the spinning blocks logo and will not load further
      • channel commands do not work, and cause the telnet session to lock up when sent
      • getmodel.sh does not work, and causes the telnet session to lock up when sent
      • Audio does not work. However, this will often happen on systems where the user EXPECTS audio to not work so they will not necessarily report it as a symptom
      • The astparam dump will show no_i2s=y
    • Workarounds:
      1. Enable audio services via telnet with the command astparam s no_i2s;astparam save;sleep 1;reboot
      2. Back-date firmware to B2.3.9 if you need audio services disabled
  • [IR][MAX v4.0.0] Global Cache and Global Cache Compressed formatted IR commands do not work
    • Use Pronto formatted IR commands
