Overview
720p EDIDs are not part of the standard EDID offerings on Just Add Power devices, as the standard EDIDs request 4K or 1080p at maximum. Sometimes it is necessary for a source to output 720p but the source menu is not cooperating. When that happens, we can apply a 720p EDID to Just Add Power Transmitter to force the source to output 720p.
Apply 720p EDID to 2G
- Telnet to the IP address of the 2G Transmitter connected to the source that should be outputting 720p
- In the command line interface, apply one of the two commands below:

- 720p Stereo EDID Command:
- You will notice the video on the Transmitter drop immediately as the source adjusts to the new EDID instructions
- Done!
Apply 720p EDID to 3G
- Open the webUI of the 3G Transmitter connected to the source that should be outputting 720p
- Navigate to the Video tab and EDID Settings card.
- Set the Startup EDID dropdown to Custom. A box will appear below
- Copy+paste the desired EDID from below:

- Click Apply. You will notice the video on the Transmitter drop immediately as the source adjusts to the new EDID instructions.
- Click Refresh on the EDID Details card to see the same EDID. This will confirm that the EDID was applied correctly.
