Overview

The 3G Ultra ST1 Transceiver is an audio-only endpoint in a 3G Ultra AV over IP system. It can be installed either as a Transmitter - connected to an audio player - or as a Receiver - connected to a speaker or headphones.

Setting Transmitter Mode or Receiver Mode can be done before or after running configuration software and setting IP addresses. When setting up, the port connection of the ST1 will determine if it gets a Transmitter IP or a Receiver IP.

Set Receiver or Transmitter Mode

Swapping between Transmitter Mode and Receiver Mode is done through a jumper on the bottom of the unit.

  • Set Transmitter Mode (Input): move the jumper to the 2 pins labeled "TX".
  • Set Receiver Mode (Output): move the jumper to the 2 pins labeled "RX".
