Overview

Just Add Power Encoders convert HDMI signals into network packets for transport across the network. Decoders convert those packets back into HDMI for display. This encoding and decoding process introduces a small amount of video latency.

Latency Specification

Omega Series systems have approximately 22 milliseconds of Encoder-to-Decoder latency. This is equivalent to approximately 1.3 frames at 60 Hz or approximately half a frame at 24 Hz.
