Overview
This article lists firmware versions for Just Add Power 2G Series systems and provides hardware filename references for historical A Series firmware.
For systems configured with AMP 2.0.0 or later, AMP applies L Series firmware to 2G Series devices and compatible Omega Series and Ultra Series devices through its normal configuration workflow.
Configuration requirement: AMP 2G Legacy Mode is supported only in Standardized Configuration. It is not available in Alternate Configuration.
L Series Firmware for AMP
L Series firmware provides the JPSW switching and configuration support used by AMP 2G Legacy Mode. On compatible Omega Series and Ultra Series devices, the firmware applies the operating state required to work with 2G Series devices.

The firmware date is the date displayed on the diagnostic screen, not the public release date.

Firmware Compatibility

L Series: All
L1.x.y.zfirmware versions are video-compatible with each other. The final three numbers identify thejpswversion. - Historical A Series: Use matching firmware versions across the system unless the release documentation explicitly identifies compatibility between versions.
For L Series systems, use AMP to apply the firmware provided for the system. Video-compatible releases may differ in their JPSW features and fixes.
Historical 2G Series Firmware
The following A Series releases run only on 2G Series hardware. The final release in this 2G-only firmware family is A5.31 FC+4+.

Historical Hybrid Firmware
Hybrid A Series firmware was used in 2G Series-only systems and systems combining 2G Series devices with compatible Omega Series and Ultra Series devices. Hardware support varies by release; these versions do not support every Ultra Series model.
Backward compatibility with Omega Series and compatible Ultra Series hardware begins at A6.4.12. The table also includes the earlier A6.4.1 release for historical reference.
