Overview

The ST1 Audio Encoder / Decoder is an audio-only device compatible with all Omega, Ultra, and MaxColor series AV over IP Systems. It can be installed either as an Encoder - connected to an audio player - or as a Decoder - connected to a speaker or headphones.

Setting Encoder Mode or Decoder Mode can be done before or after running configuration software and setting IP addresses. When setting up, the port connection of the ST1 will determine if it gets a Transmitter IP or a Receiver IP.

Set Encoder or Decoder Mode

Swapping between Encoder Mode and Decoder Mode is done through a jumper on the bottom of the unit.

• Set Encoder Mode (Input): move the jumper to the 2 pins labeled "TX".
• Set Decoder Mode (Output): move the jumper to the 2 pins labeled "RX".
